Hennessey has completed several works within the Healthcare Sector. We were proud to be the main contractor and undertook the construction and interior fit-out of the Amana Rehabilitation Hospital in Abu Dhabi. This project is particularly special as it allowed Hennessey to showcase the talent of all divisions; construction, interiors, joinery, pools and landscaping. The site was originally twelve residential villas, which were stripped out and knocked through on their ground and first levels, and connecting buildings were created. Additions, such as the back-of-house quarters were all new builds to the site. In Al Ain, we completed a similar project for Amana; 12 existing villas were converted into a hospital, and the interiors were completed to the same finish as the previous hospital in Abu Dhabi with receptions, hydrotherapy pool, in total, Al Ain can accommodate 80 beds. Hennessey constructed a linked the walkway between Al Jalila Hospital and Latifa Hospital. Our scope involved the completion of steelwork, breaking through from the walkway and into Latifa hospital, and a steel and concrete structure to provide an elevated walkway between the two hospitals. For Glucare Integrated Diabetes Center, Hennessey completed a full interior fit-out of the clinic of which all joinery work was manufactured in our Joinery Factory. Hennessey also completed works for Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi to a value of 7 million AED, this included installing an American standard partitioning system throughout the hospital.
