Beach Reclamation Anantara the Palm Dubai Resort

As part of our Specialist Services Sector, Hennessey undertook a number of beach filling levelling and profiling works for the Anantara the Palm Dubai Resort.

 The first project in 2012 involved the removal of the entire beach up to the waterline, cleaning the debris out of the sand by putting it through a sieve screen, re-profiling the beach and also adding new, clean sand to the beach.

The second project was conducted in 2013, this included cleaning and screening (sieving) the existing sand while also bringing sand in from Port Rashid to be cleaned and screened before filling and levelling it on the beach. This was 50,000m³.
