Anantara the Palm Dubai Resort, The Beach House Restaurant

Opening in 2013 as the first Anantara-branded hotel in Dubai, the Anantara the Palm Dubai Resort is a luxurious Thai-style resort and spa covering 400 metres of private shoreline along the Palm Jumeirah. With lagoon access rooms, and over water villas, this is a resort that allows guests to feel as though they are deep within nature, while still being easily accessible to the hustle and bustle of Dubai.

Hennessey was proud to be involved in a number of projects within this exclusive resort. Indeed, our award of multiple projects here showcases our quality and our ability to achieve client satisfaction in such a key hotel. One project of note was the interior fit-out of the beach restaurant, The Beach House by our Interior Division and Joinery Factory, a restaurant which 10 years on is still a fantastic lunch location for residents and tourists alike.

External decking works were completed and tables and chairs manufactured in our Joinery Factory to create a minimal but striking outdoor space. A large open window was installed to allow a seamless transition from indoors to outdoors. Internally, exquisite mashrabiya detail was manufactured and installed by Hennessey to surround the bar area. The main indoor dining area was a large open room with a timber ceiling and simplistic serving stations and timber decking. Other unique timber features are positioned around the restaurant, such as drinks cabinets, timber framing around the drinks fridges and mashrabiya detail. All of which was manufactured and installed by Hennessey and required to match a luxury beach design aesthetic.
