Amana Healthcare Pediatric Long Term Care Hospital

Following on from the highly successful completion of the Amana Rehabilitation Hospital in Abu Dhabi’s Khalifa city, Hennessey returned to undertake a similar project at the Amana Al Ain Paediatric Hospital.

Much like the Khalifa City Hospital, Al Ain Paediatric Hospital’s scope involved converting 12 existing villas into a full scape hospital with a capacity of 80 beds. These villas were stripped out, and connecting buildings were constructed. Some other areas of new construction included the reception and waiting areas, as well as the hydrotherapy pool and back-of-house services.

The same striking mashrabiya structure was also manufactured within our Joinery Factory for the reception area as well as the reception desk, nurse’s counters, kitchen and pantry areas. The landscaped areas were completed by our Landscaping Division which also includes water features and fountains at the hospital entrance.
