Abu Dhabi Equestrian Club

The Abu Dhabi Equestrian Club is a long standing institution in the capital city having opened in 1990. The Club prides itself on being one of the best riding schools in the country as well as one of the region’s most impressive venues for show jumping events. Therefore, after 20 years, a number of key upgrades and refurbishments to the centre were required in order to keep the stables looking modern, impressive and to continue to offer the best facilities.

Hennessey completed various works for the Club such as a major refurbishment of the show jumping arena which included the manufacture and installation of joinery; this was inclusive of doors, gates on roller systems, a timber finish around the entire arena, new glass balustrades, and polished marble flooring.

The horse swimming pool was upgraded with new pipework, inlets and a new plant room. Additionally, all of the main stable doors around the compound were redone. Other refurbishment works included upgrading the finishes of the bathrooms, entrance staircases, and the construction of a new guardhouse and staff kitchen building.
